Finally saw City of Bones (the 1st in the Mortal Instruments series) - it was OK but it did drag on a bit + altho' I thought the casting was OK, it just felt a bit flat to me despite the endless action scenes. I rewatched S5 of Being Human as I got the DVD for my birthday. Overall, I thought it was a good series and I suppose if the show had to end it was a good way to end it (we will not talk about that extra scene on the DVD which I thought was a complete waste of time and I really just wish they'd left the ending the way it was broadcast). Went to see Travelling Light last night & really enjoyed it (and not just because Damien Molony was in it) & would quite happily see it again. It's the story of Maurice Montgomery, a film mogul in Hollywood in 1936 looking back on his life and how he started out at Motl Mendl (the character played by Damien) making silent movies in Eastern Europe ( Read more... )

Did a marathon rewatch of S3 of Being Human as I got the DVD for Christmas and apparently the new series is starting soon. I thought S3 was really good, definitely a return to form (apart from a couple of things like I was never that keen on the episode with George's parents).
